About Nila
Menstrual products belong in every restroom — like toilet paper.
We're building the infrastructure that makes that possible at scale. Real hardware, real data, and real accountability — designed for the facility teams who keep buildings running.
Our vision
Menstrual product dispensers were introduced nearly a century ago — and little has changed since. Too often they're outdated, empty, broken, or locked behind coins. At Nila, we envision a future where menstrual products are treated as basic essentials, available in every restroom, everywhere. Our mission is to normalize menstrual product accessibility in every workplace and public space, while helping facility managers operate more efficiently.
Our story
Our founder led a multi-year effort to audit Harvard College's campus to assess menstrual product accessibility. Through that work she experienced the supply-chain challenges firsthand — from commercial procurement of quality products to facilities inefficiencies and supplier lock-ins. She helped lift Harvard's access from roughly 24% to nearly 100% in two years. Today, she's applying those operational learnings to schools, universities, workplaces, airports, and hotels nationwide.
"Data, design, and dignity for all. That's the standard every restroom deserves."
